When it comes to comparing brick-and-mortar printing shops and online businesses in the aspect of vinyl banner prices, it’s really important to consider a few key points between the two. Both have their ups and downs, as any business does. However, when you look at the right things you may come to realize that online printing businesses are overall cheaper and more reasonable with their prices. This is because of a few things, including that they offer free shipping, vinyl banner prices that are reasonable, and free customization tools.

Shipping

One of the things most people think about when considering whether to order vinyl banners from brick-and-mortar stores is how long it will take them to get to the shop, order the banner, and then how long to get back to the shop to pick it up later. Many people forego vinyl banner prices, no matter how small, from these stores simply because of the hassle and money spent ordering and picking up these banners. With online businesses, not only is the gas/time spent gone or extremely lowered, but shipping for your banner to be delivered to your door or the door of the place the banner will be used is usually free!

Reasonable

As a general rule it is difficult for brick-and-mortar stores to offer vinyl banner prices that are reasonable and cheap. This is for a very specific reason – the middle man. The middle man means that the store buys its banners from a manufacturer, and THEN sells it to you, making the cost go up with every step it has to go through. Online businesses, however, usually take orders and send them straight to the manufacturers, who then ship the banners directly to the customer for their satisfaction. This eliminates the online business from buying vinyl banners from the manufacturer and then shipping it on, eliminating one of the middle men in the equation.

Customizing

If there’s one thing that is important and usually included in the vinyl banner prices of brick-and-mortar printing stores, it is the customizing tools that are available to the customer. Many places charge extra for the background colors, font sizes and colors, and especially for the photos or images that are used on the vinyl banners’ designs. Internet stores, however, usually include their customizing tools in with the already low price, making it much cheaper for the customer to order from an online store than to pay per customization at a brick-and-mortar printing shop. If any charge is made, it is usually made as a “per square foot” type charge with a blanket rule for all customizing tools, which is still much cheaper for vinyl banner prices than those typically found in your local printing store in your hometown.
